Dixon Beautification Projects

Bridge and Rain By-Pass
FOTF built a rain by-pass drainage on the south side of Solano County Fair, and a bridge extending to the 4 acre parking area behind the race track. This is where 4H and FFA (Future Farmers of America) stock trailers are parked. The project was done at a cost of $5000 and a total of 320 volunteer man hours.

Water Truck
FOTF purchased a used flatbed truck and mounted a water tank on the back. It was retrofitted to a working water truck for full time use at the fairgrounds, saving the cost of future water truck rentals during fair time. The project was completed at a cost of $10,000 and more than 100 volunteer man hours.
